Superpower: 

Diana Angeret has a background in law with over ten years of experience. Previously, she held the position of managing partner at Angeret Advocates in Uganda, specializing in various areas of law, such as commercial law, employment law, gender rights, human rights, research, and advocacy.

Diana’s legal career began as a legal researcher for the Uganda Tobacco Control Act. Throughout the years, she has devoted her expertise to providing pro bono legal services for nonprofit organizations that support victims of human trafficking, women’s rights, the amputee football, as well as youth education and literacy programs.

Aside from her legal involvement, Diana serves as a researcher for the African Sovereign Debt Justice Network. In this role, she explores the intersection of sovereign debt and East African women, highlighting the significance of adopting a gendered lens to enhance the lives of women within this context.

Following a fundraising fellowship with Athena Advisors, Diana has transitioned into the field of fundraising, where she currently serves as a Senior Consultant. Her goal is to leverage her legal expertise to expand her knowledge of fundraising and nonprofit management. By utilizing her skills, she aims to raise funds for causes she is passionate about and the organizations she serves.
