Robert is a seasoned philanthropic executive whose leadership and experience has enabled mission-oriented agencies raise more than $80 million of dollars to serve our greater humanity.  As Vice President of Institutional Advancement of the Martin Luther King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, he responsible for the overall philanthropic strategy to ensure the principles of philosophies of Dr. King and nonviolence permeate our society to combat systemic racism and discrimination. Originally from Milpitas, California, he had the distinct honor to serve as the Senior Director of Development at Emory Law for more than five years where his major accomplishments included securing funding for the John Lewis Chair in Civil Rights and Social Justice and the Center for Transactional Law and Practice.  He also served as Director of Development at Spelman College and was a vital component to the completion of Spelman’s $150 million campaign.

Robert is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. He holds a BA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA and a Masters of Law from Emory University.  He is married and enjoys traveling and sports – especially his Golden State Warriors.
