Superpower: Finding creative ways to help funders accomplish their philanthropy goals and to connect them to an organization’s mission.

Sarah began working in nonprofit development over four years ago after discovering a passion for the field through her volunteer work. Her experience has primarily been as a one-person development team at small and midsize organizations, where she oversees annual giving, sponsorships, grants, major gifts, and donor relations. Prior to becoming a fundraiser, Sarah was an attorney for the federal government, and her legal skills help her excel at creating a clear, concise case for support for nonprofits seeking new funding partners.

Sarah earned her BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and her JD from Pepperdine University. She is licensed to practice law in California. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her two cats.
