Shari L. May joins Black Fox Philanthropy with over 12 years of experience in fundraising and development, with much of her experience focused on prospect research and analysis.  She has previously worked with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and WAMU – a public radio station in the Washington, D.C. area.
Her passion for helping non-profits advance their missions comes from her time spent volunteering with a small non-profit in South Africa where she saw first-hand how dedicated, passionate people can make a huge impact on a cause with the right tools and support. Shari received her B.A. in History from American University and her M.A. in Public Administration from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.
